Being a hippopotamus at Taipei is a truly unique experience. It's pretty different from my native habitat in Africa, that's for sure! The humidity here can be quite steamy, which means I need to spend lots of time bathed in the pool. Taipei is a bustling city with lots of tourists, so I have to stay perfectly out of their way. My favorite part about living here is the delicious fruits and vegetables that are quickly available at the market. Although, sometimes I do miss the wide-open savannas of my homeland.
